In the newly created role, Lederman will work with all the scripted businesses in the All3Media Group to develop and expand the company’s scripted activity in the US.

She will report to All3Media America CEO Greg Lipstone, becoming one of his first major hires since he took over the firm last August.

Lederman’s appointment comes after she left female-skewing cable network Lifetime last September.

“Finding the right executive to oversee the growth of All3’s scripted business in the US has been one of the leading priorities for the company,” said Lipstone.

“Nina is one of the smartest and most creative executives working in the industry and will undoubtedly be instrumental as we continue to build our scripted business alongside our already successful unscripted business.”

Labels under the All3 umbrella include Bentley Productions (Midsomer Murders), Company Pictures (Wolf Hall, The White Queen), Lion Television and Neal Street Productions.

All3Media America is currently working on The Arrangement, produced by Objective Productions USA, for E! and has several scripted projects in development at E!, A&E and Paramount.

Lederman spent seven years as senior VP of series programming and development at Lifetime.

Most recently, the exec developed UnREAL and supervised the development and production of upcoming A&E drama Damien.

Lederman also oversaw the development and production of Devious Maids and Witches of East End during her tenure. Her work in the television industry also includes executive positions at NBC Studios, Michael Ovitz’s Artists Television Group, Flame Television and Joe Roth TV.
