Telesud, which is available in more than 20 countries in Africa and Europe and is operated by France’s WIAM Group, will air the package of programming.

It includes a number of Prime Entertainment’s own productions, covering sport, lifestyle and entertainment, as well as 100 episodes of Discovery and Travel Channel series about destinations such as South Africa and Guatemala.

Among the titles included in the deal is celebrity profile series Close Up (77×26′) and Hollywood’s Best Film Directors (63×26′).

Prime recently sold a range of programming to Mauritius’s public broadcaster and Australian pay TV service Foxtel for its fledgling channel Foxtel Arts.
