A&E prop up Lachey’s Bar

US cable channel A&E Network has ordered an unscripted series from the producers of Pawn Stars in which former pop star brothers Nick and Drew Lachey open a bar.

ITV Studios-owned Leftfield Pictures will produce Lachey’s Bar (working title, 10×30′), which is set to premiere in 2015.

The two brothers, who rose to fame in the US pop band 98 Degrees in the 1990s, will finally fulfil their dream of opening a bar together in their home town of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Nick Lachey previously starred in the MTV reality series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, alongside his now ex-wife, pop star Jessica Simpson.

Executive producers for Leftfield Pictures are Brent Montgomery, David George, Jordana Hochman, Will Nothacker and Jason Hollis, while Drew Tappon, Shelly Tatro, Dave Mace and Sean Gottlieb will exec produce for A&E.

Nick and Drew Lachey also serve as executive producers of the show.
