ABC starts Family Food Fight in US

Endemol Shine Australia created Family Food Fight for Nine Network

US broadcaster ABC has commissioned a local version of Australian cooking format Family Food Fight.

The show was created by Endemol Shine Australia for Nine Network, which has commissioned a second season.

The eight-part US version will be produced by Endemol Shine North America and hosted by restauranteur and bestselling cookbook author Ayesha Curry.

Family Food Fight sees eight families face a variety of challenges across an assortment of cuisines as they compete to win a prize of US$100,000.

Endemol Shine Group is behind other entertainment formats such as All Together Now, which has been sold to Australia and Brazil and commissioned for a second run on BBC1 in the UK. Big Bounce Battle, meanwhile, is set for a second season on RTL in Germany.
