The Unlisted (15×30′) follows 12-year-old twins as they work with a group of underground vigilante kids to stop powerful governments from imposing global control over the world’s youth.

Canada’s Sinking Ship Entertainment has picked up the series, which is aimed at eight- to 12-year-olds and their families, for worldwide distribution. It is in the final stages of financing and will be shot in Australia this year before airing in fall 2019.

The series is being produced by Australian firm Aquarius Films, whose movie Lion was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars last year, in association with ABC.

“With the producers’ pedigree behind it, and a story that is timely and exciting, we think this series will be of great interest,” said Marilyn Kynaston, head of sales for Europe at Sinking Ship.
