5USA visits Chicago again

Chicago Justice was cancelled by NBC earlier this year

Viacom-owned 5USA in the UK has picked up the rights to another Chicago series from NBCUniversal International Distribution.

The channel has taken all 13 episodes of Chicago Justice, produced by Universal Television, which was cancelled by NBC in the US in May after just one season.

The procedural series follows a team of prosecutors and investigators as they tackle high-stakes cases in the US city, with Philip Winchester and Jon Seda starring.

Other Chicago-based shows on 5USA’s slate include Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.

NBC also cancelled drama Timeless in May, just before revealing that Chicago Justice would end.
