5Star spins 100% Hotter

100% hotter is 5Star’s highest rated original

Viacom’s UK network 5Star has ordered a spin-off from its 100% Hotter makeover format from London-based producer Naked Entertainment.

100% Hotter: Make Me Over (6×60’) is due to air this autumn and aims to help people improve their look under the expert tutelage of fashion and make-up experts, with members of the public rating their transformations.

5Star has also commissioned a third season of original series 100% Hotter (6×60’), which will air next year and will again look to rescue people from over-the-top style choices.

The format premiered its first season on 5Star in June 2016 and recorded the highest ratings of any original on the channel since 2011.

Both series have been commissioned by Sebastian Cardwell and Gemma Hewlett for 5Star, with Simon Andreae, founder of FremantleMedia-backed Naked Entertainment, serving as executive producer and Rachel Viner as series producer.

FremantleMedia represents both the format and finished tape and will be shopping them at Mipcom in October.
