44 Blue hires from 51 Minds

Red Arrow-owned 44 Blue Productions in the US has hired the director of programming from Endemol Shine North America-owned 51 Minds.

Elyse Delmore has joined the Wahlburgers producer as senior director of development, where she will work with the development team on shows for cable, broadcast, syndication and digital platforms.

During her time at 51 Minds, Delmore developed and sold shows for History, VH1, BET, MTV, CMT, E! and HGTV.

Before joining 51 Minds in 2014, Delmore worked in development at VH1, working on shows such as Dating Naked, La La’s Full Court Life and TI & Tiny: The Family Hustle. She also brought the AOL digital series Candidly Nicole, starring Nicole Richie, to the network and developed it into longform content.

“Elyse brings experience from both sides of the aisle, having worked as a buyer and seller during her career. With a deep knowledge of formats, pop culture and a great eye for talent, she brings a fresh and distinctive voice to the department,” said Dan Snook, senior VP of development for 44 Blue Productions.

44 Blue’s slate includes Animal Planet’s long-running Pit Bulls & Parolees, E!’s Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry and A&E’s Nightwatch, while it also has forthcoming projects with talent including Viola Davis, Chloe Grace Moretz, Jessica Biel and Khloe Kardashian.
