41E to shop Activision’s Skylanders

Skylanders Academy

US animation company 41 Entertainment (41E) has signed up to distribute children’s series Skylanders Academy from games outfit Activision Blizzard Studios.

41E has been named exclusive global sales agent for the show across linear TV, electronic sell-through and home entertainment distribution, and will shop it at Mipcom.

Also on its Cannes slate will be forthcoming animation series Shooting Star and The Mini Musketeers, both of which were produced in-house.

Shooting Star (13×22’), created by Avi Arad and written by Eric Rogers and Josh Haber, follows a 13-year-old girl who is struck by a star and becomes a superhero.

The Mini Musketeers (26×11′) follows the adventures of the characters created by Alexandre Dumas before they became heroes in 17th Century France.

Also included on 41E’s Mipcom slate are Super Monsters (20×11) and PacMan & the Ghostly Adventures (52×22’).
