2015 Emmy winners

HBO stole the night at the 67th Primetime Emmys, clocking up a record haul at the awards, celebrated here in C21’s latest Hot Properties Playlist.

HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones took home the Best Drama Series at Sunday night’s Emmys for the first time in the show’s six-season history.

The drama scooped four awards at the Los Angeles ceremony and a total of 12 including its eight prior Creative Arts Emmy prizes – the most any programme has won in a single year.

The success rounded off a big night for the US premium cable network, which also scooped the Best Comedy Series gong for political show Veep and Best Miniseries for Olive Kitteridge. HBO walked away with a total of 43 gongs – its highest ever.
