108 Media appoints for Asia

Canadian-based distributor 108 Media has appointed an Asian production expert to lead its growth in the region.

Mike Leeder will partner with the company’s senior development team to expand its slate of Asian content, based out of its Hong Kong office.

He will help develop Asian film, TV and new media shows, expanding 108 Media’s offering in the region and working over two TV projects titled A Martial Arts Journey, and Tracking the Dragon.

108 already operates Tokyo-based 108 Asia, which distributes across the region with a focus on underserved territories and emerging markets.

Leeder has worked on films including Gareth Evans’ The Raid 2, Jet Li’s Fearless and Jackie Chan’s Rush Hour 3.
